4 Questions About the Future of Drones

An expert answers some burning questions about solar-powered drones, Amazon delivery drones, and the impact on the insurance and tourism industries.

If you haven’t tuned into Singularity Hub’s Ask an Expert series, I highly suggest you do. It’s informative and fun.

In the most recent episode, David Roberts, chairman of global drone services company HaloDrop, answered some questions that came in through Twitter about drones.

The topics include solar-powered drones, Amazon delivery drones, the impact of drones on the insurance and tourism industries, and more.

There’s no discussion about drones nearly colliding with planes or interfering with wildfires, so it’s a nice change of pace.

A new episode of Ask an Expert airs every Thursday. If you want to get involved, tweet a question to @singularityu and include #AskSU to ask your question about virtual reality, artificial intelligence, or another emerging technology.
