A roundup of out-of-the-box drones that all drone enthusiasts will want to get their hands on.


If you haven’t noticed, there’s quite the drone craze going on. It’s still considered a hobby for tech enthusiasts, but more consumers are flying drones, and more companies are looking to innovate and grab a bigger slice of the pie.

The two best known consumer drone companies are DJI and Parrot, but they aren’t on this list. Clearly both companies are creating drones consumers want, but we’ve rounded up drones that are completely out of the box.

Most of these drones, unfortunately, aren’t for sale yet, or they are a result of some creative DIY work. But if you’re a drone enthusiast or are thinking about getting into drones, the following six drones will certainly leave a lasting impression - a fun one, of course - if you can get your hands on them.
