MakerBot runs a website called Thingiverse, where users can find and download more than 300,000 3D printable items that can be printed on the Replicator Mini 3D Printer.

MakerBot’s Replicator Mini, its fifth-generation compact 3D printer was first unveiled at CES 2014, MakerBot CEO Bre Pettis compared the new printer’s 3D printing experience to the excitement “when people saw the first iPhone.”

The MakerBot Replicator Mini is powered by the MakerBot 3D Printing Platform. It has an onboard camera to monitor its 3D printing via the MakerBot Mobile app, and it features the MakerBot Replicator Smart Extruder that reduces downtime by enabling you to quickly replace a worn extruder in minutes. Its modular design lets you plan for the natural wear common to 3D printing extruders and prepares you to quickly adapt to future innovations in the fast-evolving world of 3D printing.

MakerBot has been one of the biggest players in 3D printing. The company runs a website called Thingiverse, where users can find and download more than 300,000 3D printable items that can be printed on the Replicator Mini. On top of that, they can also purchase and download files from the MakerBot Digital Store or use a variety of simple design tools, to design their own 3D prints.

You can also send print files via Wi-Fi or the included USB cable.
