NVIDIA Jetson TX1 Embedded Systems Module

NVIDIA Jetson TX1 is an embedded visual computing that delivers the performance and power efficiency needed for deep learning and computer vision applications for drones, robots and other autonomous machines.


The world’s first supercomputer on a module, NVIDIA’s Jetson TX1 is capable of delivering the performance and power efficiency needed for deep learning and computer vision applications for drones, robots and other autonomous machines.

The Jetson TX1 is built around the NVIDIA Maxwell architecture with 256 CUDA cores delivering over 1 TeraFLOPs of performance. 64-bit CPUs, 4K video endcode and decode capabilities, and a camera interface capable of 1400 MPix/s.

Drones and robots that use the Jetson TX1 will be able to learn from the environment to navigate safely, identify and classify objects of interest, and perform 3D mapping and scene modeling.

NVIDIA also has the Jetson TX1 Developer Kit that the module plugs into and provides plenty of I/O options and pin outs. The Jetson TX1 Developer Kit can be used by software developers or for prototyping while the module alone can be used with finalized embedded products.

The Jetson TX1 Developer Kit comes pre-flashed with a Linux environment, includes support for many common APIs, and is supported by NVIDIA’s complete development tool chain. The board also exposes a variety of standard hardware interfaces, enabling a highly flexible and extensible platform. This makes it ideal for all your applications requiring high computational performance in a low-power envelope.
