Ardence, the global leader in developing software platforms for the on-demand world, today announced that its membership in the Intel® Software Partner Program has been upgraded to Associate Partner in recognition of ongoing commitment to developing and selling products based on Intel platforms.
As a result of its enhanced status, Ardence said it has access to a broader range of planning, development and marketing resources within Intel’s worldwide partner community.
Ardence is already a General Member of the Intel® Communications Alliance, and is collaborating with Intel to add Intel®-specific enhancements to its product line. This includes integration with the Intel® Virtualization Technology and Intel® Active Management Technology (Intel® AMT).
“We’re pleased that Intel recognizes the value Ardence technology adds in its solutions and it’s very encouraging that they’ve taken steps to further strengthen our partnership,” said Stephen Woodard, Ardence Senior Vice President of Global Operations. “Our technology alignment with Pentium-class processors and Microsoft Windows XP platforms yields products that improve the performance, reliability, and management of embedded systems. This enhanced status in the Partner Program not only provides us with greater access to departments within Intel that drive new product development and innovation, but also provides resources that help us increase our market presence.”
With greater access to Intel’s technical resources, Ardence is bolstering its Intel-supported software solutions. Specifically, the synergy of Intel’s multi-core processors and Ardence’s control solutions for high-performance embedded systems provides a versatile platform for continued collaborative product development. Since it began supporting dedicated and shared multi-processor configurations in 2002, Ardence has been a leader in multi-core technologies with its RTX product.
RTX, which enhances the control of Windows and enables real-time computing, is deployed widely in industrial automation, military and aerospace, simulation, robotics, test and measurement and medical devices. As a COTS-based software solution, RTX can enable the elimination of costly and aging proprietary hardware-based systems.
