Event Session Will Explore How to Build and Grow Great Robotics Companies

Heartland Robotics Founder Rod Brooks will share his insights on how robotics start-ups can attract VC investors.

RoboBusiness Leadership Summit, a one-of-a-kind executive-level conference, announced that Rod Brooks, founder, chairman, and CTO of Heartland Robotics will be among the key presenters at its upcoming Boston event, taking place Nov. 2-3.

Brooks' program will examine the three main categories of companies within the robotics space: diversified large corporations that field robotics products, mid-size specialty robotics companies, and small venture-backed start-ups. Brooks' program will look into what robotics startups must do to appeal to VC firms, and what VC firms need to do to educate themselves about the robotics space.

The Leadership Summit's Business Development & Investment Track, of which Brooks' presentation is a part, is designed for management-level attendees who want to learn about business development and investment opportunities that exist in the global marketplace, along with proven sales, marketing, production and partnering strategies.
