By Robotics Trends Staff - Filed Sep 19, 2006
Robotics Trends and IDG World Expo announced that Popular Science magazine has been named the Premier Media Sponsor of the RoboDevelopment Conference and Exposition. The RoboDevelopment Conference and Exposition (http://www.robodevelopment.com) will be held December 12-13, 2006 at the Santa Clara Convention Center, Santa Clara California.

“I am delighted that Popular Science has joined the RoboDevelopment Conference and Exposition as the event’s Premier Media Sponsor, said Dan Kara, conference co-chairman and President of Robotics Trends. The event and the magazine are made for each other. Since 1872, Popular Science has reported on the intersection of science, emerging technologies and everyday life, with an eye toward what is new and why it matters. It comes as no surprise, therefore, that Popular Science is supporting RoboDevelopment, a conference and exposition especially designed for those building a new generation of robotics technologies and applications that will become part of everyday life.”

RoboDevelopment Conference and Exposition sponsors include Founding Sponsor Microsoft and Premier Association Sponsor the Object Management Group. A complete list of all corporate, media and association sponsors can be found at http://www.robodevelopment.com/rd2006_sponsors.htm.
