Powered by a rechargeable, interchangeable battery, the Rex Personal exoskeleton can walk continuously for over two hours on one charge.

The Rex Bionics Personal Exoskeleton is a hands-free and self-supporting robotic exoskeleton. The Rex Personal is custom fitted and able to navigate stairs and slopes, it enables you to get around at home, at work or at play.

Whether it is standing with family and friends at a BBQ, working at a bench or in an operating theater, cooking, or just relaxing, the Rex Personal enables you to be up and moving around, whenever suits you.

The Rex Personal is available in the UK, Europe and countries where a CE Mark is recognized. It is not available for sale in the United States.

Rex says its exoskeleton is the first exoskeleton that:

  • Does not require crutches or a walking frame to provide stability, leaving the hands free
  • Can be used by people with a complete spinal cord injury up to the C4/5 level
  • Protects the shoulders from injury, thereby safeguarding independence
  • Addresses the medical complications of wheelchair use

Rex Personal has 29 on-board processors to provide safety, comfort, convenience, and utility with the slightest touch.

With four double tethered leg straps, an upper harness, and abdominal support, security is simple yet ample. Specially designed cuffs hold the legs firmly, but without creating pressure points. Rex is constructed from hospital grade materials, including hypoallergenic, pressure relieving foam padding which prevents pressure areas from forming.
