“ROS is incredibly important to us and we have championed it since its beginning. In fact, all of our robots are ROS compatible,” said Matt Rendall, Chief Executive Officer at Clearpath Robotics. “A summer school program designed specifically around learning and sharing ROS is something we’re very excited to be a part of. We’re really glad to help.”
The objective of the ROS Summer School is to teach students how to get started with ROS integration for those who are interested in mobile autonomous systems. The program is organized by MASCOR (Mobile Autonomous Systems and Cognitive Robotics) at FH Aachen. Registration is open to the public and is recommended that participants have basic knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu) and one programming language such as Python or C++.
