Innova Holdings and Embry-Riddle University Launch a Strategic Alliance

The Alliance Will Seek and Develop Business Opportunities and Research Projects of Mutual Interest Within the Realms of Commercial and Military Unmanned Aviation, Ground, and Sea Vehicle Technologies

Innova Holdings, Inc. (OTC BB: IVHG), a robotics and automation technology company providing software and hardware systems-based solutions to the service, personal, and industrial robotic markets, announced today that it has formed a strategic partnership with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU).

This strategic alliance will leverage Innova Holdings’ work with NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) to which it is providing control systems for robotic mechanisms that are planned for a future mission to the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) with ERAU’s exposure and expertise in the fields of aeronautics, engineering, flight training, and unmanned vehicle exploration. Together, Innova Holdings and ERAU bring a solid foundation for the development and launch of technological solutions to evolutionary markets in a revolutionary way.

“We are on the verge of a new and emerging industry, born of robotics and PC platforms that will enhance the power of communication and control so that automated equipment and advanced technologies are employed in an environment where universal language, increased productivity, training efficiencies and break-through technological feats are realized. The alliance between Innova Holdings and Embry-Riddle will propel us through some important industry challenges,” commented Walter Weisel, Chairman and CEO, Innova Holdings, Inc.

The alliance will also enable Innova Holdings and ERAU to take a strong step forward to bring communication links together in a structured environment that will develop sensor, mobility, and global positioning systems technology, most specifically for military applications.

“Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s College Of Engineering and Innova Holdings are exploring various means for collaborative activities in the areas of development and application of robotics. The College of Engineering has recently started a Mechanical Engineering program with focus on developing robotics for manufacturing and service, aerial applications and for space exploration. Our Electrical and Systems Engineering Department is involved in the control and systems aspects of robotics, while our Computer and Software Engineering Department is involved in the computer and software engineering aspects of robotics,” explained Dr. Ray Mankbadi, Professor and Dean of the College of Engineering at ERAU.

Innova Holdings will also demonstrate and deploy a new and significant software system, called ‘BattleScript,’ in the ERAU environment. This software link goes beyond what is thought possible in the man-machine interoperability arena and is directly applicable to the unmanned vehicle technology.

Projects between Innova Holdings and ERAU are in development since signing the Memorandum of Understanding this week.

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is recognized as a world leader in Aerospace Education including aerospace engineering, aeronautical science, flight and flight-testing, aircraft and propulsion systems, avionics engineering and other associated areas of aviation interest.
