NASA’s Hazbot to be Auctioned
NASA JPL Hazbot III Prototype Emergency Response Robotics Project, featured in “Stargate” (1994) with Kurt Russell To Be Autioned
Hazbot III, a one-of-a-kind prototype robot with over $1M R&D spent on it, will be placed on the auction block November 3, 2005 by Skinner Auctioneers in Bolton, Massachusetts. Hazbot III was featured in the 1994 movie STARGATE with Kurt Russell, and also won a Discover Award. Skinner estimates Hazbot III will will sell at $20k to $30k.
