Qualifications:

We are looking for a skilled DVT Engineer who is accomplished in testing application software from the top level to the component level. This leadership position will work with our development team to enhance the verification and validation process associated with periodic software releases. Candidates must have experience with test planning, design and execution. This position will be responsible for execution of the following types of testing in conjunction with software release cycles: functional, system, exploratory, regression, performance, conformance and GUI.

Responsibilities

* Develop DVT processes, plans and procedures to be executed in conjunction with our software release cycles.
* Design, develop and implement custom software to automate testing.
* Conduct and supervise DVT testing.
* Participate with the Product Development Teams during implementation of new products and features.
* Provide testability input to the Development Teams.
* Operate a variety of computer automated and manual test equipment including oscilloscopes, function generators, motors and motor simulators
* Manage extended qualification test projects

Required Skills

* BSEE, BSCS or equivalent degree
* Visual Studio, SQL, version control, software and Unit testing
* Minimum 3 - 5 years experience in a software testing environment
* Ability to maintain excellence and accuracy in a dynamic, fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment
* Must work well in a team environment
* Strong written and oral communication skills - ability to create specifications

Preferred Skills

* Familiarity with data acquisition systems, data analysis and processing
* Excellent organizational and planning skills
* Effective analytical and problem solving skills
* Must be self-motivated
