JOB SUMMARY
The primary responsibilities of the Vice President of Sales and Marketing are to develop, coordinate, and implement strategic marketing plans across several internal and external marketing venues, stay abreast of changes in the marketing environments and media, and to innovative change that best serves company objectives. The Vice President of Sales and Marketing is also responsible for designing, developing and implementing effective web site marketing strategies, print marketing and multi-media products and is responsible for corporate branding strategies and implementations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing
• Plan, define, collaborate and implement marketing strategies with executive management
• Develop and manage annual expense budget and production schedules including print advertising, web site, multi-media, and tradeshows
• Develop and implement effective branding strategies for company and company products and services
Print Design and Production
• Responsible for the design and production of ready-to-press marketing communication materials according to approved branding strategies
• Stay abreast of new and emerging technologies, evaluate, recommend, and incorporate new technologies as determined appropriate for corporate marketing objectives
Web and E-marketing
• Oversee and coordinate the design, development, and maintenance of the corporate website
• Develop plans that maximizes site traffic, products and services awareness, and monitor sales demand
• Direct and execute marketing and media campaigns
• Track and measure online advertising programs, design test strategies, analyze results, and make recommendations for improvement
• Maximize online user experience, publish effective and efficient customer messages, and coordinate marketing scheduling.
Multimedia
• Responsible for the capture of video footage of projects and product activities including advertising, documentation and training processes
• Collect all media materials and organize, store, and duplicate as needed
In-House Design Production
• Assist in-house departments with the creation of 2D and 3D content sales and marketing productions
Tradeshows
• Oversee image production and distribution
• Design and develop use and delivery of all trade show materials and coordinate all onsite logistics and advertising venues
Public Relations
• Design and deliver clear messages throughout the related industry as well as with customer base that build upon the reputation of ASI
• Manage and implement public response to any “negative” situation what would otherwise tarnish the ASI brand in the eyes of a stakeholder
Customer Relationship Management
• Organize and implement client relations including: client satisfaction surveys, client development activities, client skills training, and special events
Market Research
• Execute or procure research data that informs market strategy decisions such as : identifying target market and demographics, determining feature and benefit priorities, market size, market saturation, exiting competitors, comparative offerings to determine differentiation strategies, acceptable price points, etc.
Problems Solving
• Break down problems into components that allow for thorough analysis; solves problems logically and methodically
• Take problems they cannot solve to others to seek the assistance, knowledge, and experience of others and implements knowledge learned
Personal Development
• Maintain regular study habits by frequently reviewing emerging technologies that improve the design, development, and testing of software programming and applications and apply technologies learned

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, JOB SKILLS
• Bachelor or Master degree in Marketing
• Successful experience in taking new software products and/or electronic products with a software component to market
• 5-10 years of broad-based marketing experience
• 2-4 years of direct management experience
• Familiar with and active use of current software applications used in marketing disciplines
• Superior oral and written communications skills
• Strong process orientation and implementation
• Detailed oriented, logical, and methodological approach to problem solving
• Ability to provide vision and leadership to the Sales and Marketing staff
• Ability to plan and schedule the work of others
• Works well independently and in team situations and environments
