iRobot Scooba 450

iRobot unveiled at the 2014 International CES its Scooba 450 floor scrubbing robot. Designed to replace the Scooba 300, the Scooba 450 was made to tackle any surface compatible with a mop and bucket, such as tile, wood, linoleum, etc. The Scooba 450 is said to have a three-step cleaning process that is completed by going over surfaces twice. The first swipe vacuums up stray debris, while also pre-soaking the floor to loosen any grime. On its second time around, the Scooba scrubs the floor, and also squeegees up any excess moisture. The Scooba 450 is retailing for $599.99.
