Lynx AIVs

Game Changer Category: Autonomous Navigation Solution

Unlike traditional AGVs, Lynx vehicles require no facility modifications (magnets, beacons, etc.). Instead, they feature laser-based localization technology and advanced software, allowing the robots to autonomously navigate throughout a facility by generating a detailed map with a navigation laser and then tracking their own location on the map based on features seen by the navigation laser. This navigation algorithm is completely viable as long as the navigation laser can see at least 20% of the features that it has seen before.
