Raised: $6,101
Backers: 17
Shut Down: Never Got off the Ground

For every crowdfunded project that exceeds its goal, attracts the media and ends up infuriating backers, there are several that don't reach their target. The AguaDrone managed to attract just $6,101 of an intended $150,000, thanks to just 17 backers.

Designed for fishing enthusiasts and professionals, the AguaDrone was supposed to be the world's first "waterproof drone with a sonar fish finder. When the drone spots a fish, it sends a WiFi signal to your cell phone or smart device over 300 feet away.

Presumably, around the same time, the fish would get freaked out by the noise of the drone and quickly swim to another location.
