The program is part of the History Channel’s “Modern Marvels” series. It will discuss the history of sewers and their evolution from ancient Rome to today. The final portion of the program, which will spotlight RedZone’s patent-pending technology, will focus on emerging technologies in sewer inspection and rehabilitation. The RedZone segment was filmed in and around Pittsburgh and features the company’s Responder robotic platform. RedZone’s Chief Technology Officer, Scott Thayer, also appears in the program and discusses how RedZone incorporates multiple sensors to create 3D models of sewer pipes.
